Getting Started
Meadows of Al-Mustafa's courses are currently conducted through WiZiQ, a web-based platform. You will access the virtual classroom through your free WiZiQ account.
Step 1: Create a Free WiZiQ Account
1. Go to http://www.wiziq.com. On the WiZiQ home page, you will see a 'Join for Free' registration box
2. Type in your ‘First Name’, ‘Last Name,’ ‘Email address,’ ‘Password’ and the code you see in the box. (Important: Please use a valid email address as all class invitations and notifactions will be sent directly from WiZiQ to your listed email address).

Step 2: Verify Your Email
To begin using your WiZiQ Account, you must verify your email address:
1. Click on your name from the top right corner of your page.
2. Click on 'Edit' across the picture box on this page. Your screen shows the General Information page.
3. Click on Verify/Change email address link. Your screen shows the email address you are registered with on WiZiQ.

Step 3: System Configuration and Device Check
Please click here to complete a series of computer tests to ensure that your system meets the basic technical and Internet connection requirements to successfully attend a WiZiQ class. If a test fails, you may follow the measures suggested in the test summary to resolve the issue.
Minimum Computer System Requirements:
Windows NT/2000/XP/VISTA/7, MAC OS X onwards
Internet Explorer 6 and above
Mozilla Firefox 2 and 3
Latest Flash player and Java Runtime Environment 1.6
Minimum Bandwidth Requirement: 256 kbps
Direct Ethernet cable connected to the internet (ie. not wireless) is highly recommended
Reminder: During live sessions please avoid any other applications, downloads, or live streaming web services (ie. You Tube) that use up internet bandwidth as this may compromise the quality of the audio transmission.

Step 4: Register with Meadows of Al-Mustafa
Now that you have set up your WiZiQ Account and configured your computer, you may complete the Meadows of Al-Mustafa registration form by clicking here. Please remember to use the same email address used when setting up your WiZiQ account. Please allow 1-2 days for your application to process.
Step 5: Entering a Live Class Session
Please take the following steps to enter a WiZiQ classroom:
1.) In your email inbox, you will receive a separate invitation to enter each Meadows of Al-Mustafa class session. You must enter the classroom via the email invitation sent to you by WiZiQ.
Note: If you only receive a Meadows of Al-Mustafa Google Group email, and do not receive a WiZiQ email invitation, please use the hyperlink included in the email from the Google Group and follow the instructions on the WiZiQ page to attend the class .
2.) At the bottom of the WiZiQ email invitation, click "View Complete Information"
3.) You will be directed to the WiZiQ webpage. Click "Join this class"
4.) You will be prompted to sign in with the email address used when you created the account
5.) Once you have successfully signed in, click "Launch Class"
6.) When you enter the classroom, an "Adobe Flash Player Settings" window will pop up requesting camera and microphone access. Please click "Allow." This merely activates sound controls, but will not turn on your microphone or camera.
7.) You should be logged into the designated online classroom!
